Bouchard is a lock for one of the 3 rd spots next year. Popular choice is not resign Barrie however some myself included think barries production is too good to pass on so that leaves bear as a trade chip for a good lw or 3c.

I don't see Bear carrying a whole lot of value , he won't land a 3 C that's any good or at least fills the need the Oilers have at 3 C , he may land you an ok middle 6 LW but there's plenty of those in FA that'll come in around the 2 million mark. Move bear for a 4th or maybe you get a 3rd and play Bouchard if you please

I think your underestimating bears value. He’s a good young defender that shoots right which has always carried a bit more value than a lefty. I don’t value him as highly as some but certainly believe has enough to land a good youngish proven 3c. Perhaps a zacha from jersey who needs more defenders also has depth at centre.
