He should be willing, Nylander is a stud, has consistently had a better season than the last and is a lock for 35-45 goals and 80-90 pts for about the next 5 seasons

He has better numbers than Samsonov except the year Samsonov played for the Leafs, Hart's been on a relatively bad teams, Sammy has been on mostly good teams

I mean no offense to Flame fans , but if one of them could explain Vlader as an upgrade on Woll would be appreciated.
Vlader has played 20 more NHL games that's it - with significantly worse results

Well it's a bridge deal, and when it's due to extend the cap will be 90 million, Bouchard will be 26 and had 3 more seasons of 50/60 points under his belt and he'll sign for 12x8

Hawks are still short players on the backend, Brodie is a fine top 4 defense man who would certainly garner interest at the TDL for Chicago's sell off - I'm not dumping nor are the Leafs interested in dumping Brodie. I gave the Hawks Brodie for a 3rd and paid a 1st (dropped about 90 spots) to dump Murray

Dissapointing FA
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>But your point was that ROR wouldn’t have the Toronto pressure walking down the street in Nashville.
Doesn’t matter, leafs had weeks to negotiate and find the price point with ROR and Acciari, and will be hard pressed to find better options for those amounts. And even if I take your word that ROR wanted 30 million to stay in Toronto, is maybe why they should tear it down, if even a player like ROR turn’s mercenary
For all the reasons they were acquired at substantial costs, are the same reasons they’re still needed.</div></div>
There is no logical reason to "tear it down" when the team is consistently in the top 10 year over year , especially with JT money freeing up in 2 years - they have space to sign Matthews and Nylander, along with enough money left over to fill holes. They just got the first round monkey off their back so really there is no logical reason to "tear it down" that's just nonsensical fodder spewed by annoyed prefer to hate fans
