find cheaper 4th line option instead of armia and spend money on oleksiak or savard instead. defence is main priority. can also find a cheaper 3rd line winger instead of hyman

the defense is fine tbh. Depth scoring has been the reason this team has not gotten anywhere. The bottom 6 needs a full retool and tbh I'm fine with that defense thats an amazing 3rd pairing and a good bottom 4. I could see the argument for getting a younger guy like McCabe instead of Armia in FA to play with lauzon/miller tho.

i just worry are defence become super injury prone again and we need someone who can play 20 minutes a night if carlo gets hurt and thats wht mccabe, oleksiak and savard can do, would rather cliffy be playing and developing over killer aswell

meant to say first pair my bad and yes I think I would take McCabe over Armia however I think we should still bring in a 4th liner from outside to create some internal competition.

ya i agree with that, cizikas is a free agent this year would probably require same price as armia. which id be find giving him that money
