Description
If they keep their prospect pool strong, they can make it work. With Firstov, Menell, Nesterenko, Khusnutdinov they have NHL capable players coming up. Still don't agree with buying out suter, but can see some vision here. If they somehow got buffalo to eat some of eichel's salary (going rate was roughly a 3rd for 300k, so say throw in a first and a third to eat $3M, idk if buffalo would bite at all, but I think would be worth it.)

Orourke and Beckman won’t play for 2 years at least. Also, I wouldn’t play Rossi with Bjugstad and Foligno. Rossi is a playmaker, ideally he plays with Fiala as he is a goal scorer with the big shot. Foligno should stick with Ek as they are shutdown defenders. Plus we’d only have 700k next year to sign 4 roster players in this situation.

Value on Eichel is def close, but I don’t think there’s any chance BUF retains on him. Even with sweeteners, I can’t see it happening with his term.

I dont get the 2 more years thing, if they played and played decently all year in Iowa last year, why would they not be capable of making the jump or atleast giving them a shot

Basic question : Did you look at the cap situation in year...say...2 of your ACGM?!? Yeah, that's not happening, bud. Sorry to be the guy who brings you back down to earth.

I think the only way it works is moving dumba in year 2. Not sure if I said that anywhere within, but moving him on an expiring deal keeps the prospect pool up. It could happen but yes, cap hell
