that crouse deal is not great. Ideally you use the first rounder to address a need,now forward depth is a need but you need to aquire quality if you are giving up a first and crouse is not that.

hamonic could be a serviceable replacement of Larsson but we all know that there is no way to truly replace what he bring to the team

coleman wants to stay in the us, particularly wants to be in dallas. would require a massive overpay to snag him. Danualt would require a massive overpay as well given he is the best centre in the UFA class and there are plenty of teams looking for a centre. Also 5.3 for a 3rd line centre is much too expensive.

Like the Tatar option and Ullmark aswell but, the dcore is worse than it was this past year which is concerning. 4th line looks pretty good but I wouldn't bank on benson given his foot speed issues. play like him needs to be on the offensive side of the lineup to be effective, might want to think about snagging a vet for the 4th line later in FA. Also 2 years for smith is very risky
