Quite an assumption that a team trades for 3.9m Gorges, and Vegas claims 4.6m Ennis. (just to give Sabres cap space to sign UFAs)

That's a textbook New Jersey move. And looking at the potential forwards, it would make sense for Vegas to take Ennis.

As much as having Shattenkirk would be nice, i think Buffalo cant afford another 7million dollar contract. Already got ROR and Okposo and soon Eichel and Rienhart
