It looks as though the winds may have shifted a little on Landy and it's now a bit more likely he returns, maybe 60/40 he does rather than 60/40 he doesn't. Sounds like it's still all about term at the right dollar amount but they're working on it. Leads me to believe Gru may be on his way out and they go with someone like Kuemper or Ullmark if they can get one of them.

I don't know that Ranta will be in the NHL next year; more likely he spends most or all of the year in Loveland. Probably means someone like Sherwood plays 4th line but maybe they shift Kaut over to LW; apparently, the coaches don't think Kaut hustles enough, though.
