Description
I read an article on NHL.com about the deadline and it said that Kekäläinen is not going to make a big splash. This makes sense bc their window is just opening. However, with the amazing season they are having plus in the salary cap era where teams really only get 2-3 deep playoff runs without having to make tough decisions about who to keep (see: Saad, Brandon), I think the Jackets should make a move for Duchene. I could see Columbus adding another forward prospect instead of the 5th

Jarmo will likely add only expiring contracts. They don't want to mess with the protection list for the Expansion draft. Hanzal, Eaves, Vanek, Vrbata are players to look at.

Sabres are very unlikely to move Franson, especially for that return. Depending on how this weekend goes, they'd want an established prospect that would be cracking the roster next season. If the Sabres steal a game though and play like they should against COL ARI (2 worst in the league) and NSH (they already beat) then its doubtful Sabres sell off anything , instead of making a run at a playoff spot (at least not for a cap dump and a late 3rd in a garbage draft class).

Take out Heatherington+5th and add Murray into the Duchene deal. That's more realistic based off what Sakic is looking for
