This was an offer I heard proposed by the CBJ. And seeing as how Duchene would be an upgrade over Saad, I don't think I agree with you. CBJ has the D to compete, but they don't have the scoring. This trade helps that considerably.

This is incredibly bad for Columbus. Saad=Duchene. So we're going to give Murray+1st for a guy we just bought out over last summer? Haha no. Not a chance.

I don't see the fit for colorado. Murray and a 1st is not worth a duchene. And I don't think they move Saad. PLD, a first, Murray and Milano. But I think the Ottawa makes for sense. Colin white, 1st, and ceci for Dutch

Doubt they move PLD either unfortunately. That Ottawa trade was definitely the front runner, but I have it on good authority that CBJ threw out this offer to see where it stood. No idea if it's a firm offer or not. I'd love to get Colin White though, he's gonna be good. Ceci...dunno. I'd rather have Murray, but we'll see what happens.
