Description

I think Chevy did a fantastic job this off-season, this is just a bit of tweaks that I would’ve done. Schmidt is good but I just don’t like the cap hit and McCabe puts up really good advanced stats in Buffalo so I feel like he’d do really good playing with a guy like pionk, and ville and Stanley could split games which I think would really help Heinolas development playing 30, 40 games. Other then that I think Chevy did a fantastic job this off-season and I’m super excited for this season.

Jets don’t need 4 years of McCabe, probably aren’t going to need 3 years of Dillon with stanley,heinola and samberg coming. Took some convincing to get Schmidt to come, not thinking ufa McCabe choosing Winnipeg over chicago, everything being equal. Schmidt also has experience playing his offside

Schmidt's a really strong addition... both on and off the ice, fills in exactly what we lack, for only a 3rd

another note is Chevy really wanted him.. tried to get him to waive multiple times, and knowing Chevy.. it'll work out
