Description

Assumes Bouchard continues to develop a year earlier than expected to where Barrie is redundant. Don’t see Barrie on team after second year of contract. Trade to Seattle provides offensive RD for big local LD and shift Koekkoek to right side.

Also assumes Holloway can stick and play with McDavid. If not, can move top 9 around to fit Holloway on 2nd or 3rd line.

Creates enough cap room to make through 22-23 as following year cap flexibility opens up a bit more with Keith hit totally off the books or resign 1 year for dirt cheap as 6/7D and Skinner/Konovalov gets to back-up replacing Smith.

Elvis picks Edm over Columbus for same money as greater chance to win and clear path to #1 spot.

Would deal Yamamoto or Kassian to make room for Lavoie (or cheap 4th line RW UFA) and create more cap room
