Personally I think it might be better for Mon to let Jesperi go. Getting the assets and being able to trade for someone you really like and would fit perfectly may end up being a better option for the win now" scenario. Though i believe he in the end he will be worth more than the compensation your getting back. But at the moment it may be worth the price.

In this GM im matching the offer sheet. Unable to make any moves and really no urge to this year with the group at hand. Couldn't find anything I liked to boost the defense in year 1. In all reality you are going back into the year with the same team which doesnt happen much so there is potential playoff spot for them if they can excel. Its a very tough East this year.
Byron out till December left enough room when he comes back. May be able to acquire a depth player at the deadline if things are looking good.
