With the way turris is apparently looking and the commitment he gave the organization in staying in Edmonton and training threw offseason wouldn’t bet against him. The amount of options the team has yam is playing with fire holding out.

No way Yam signing that cheap... would think 2x $1.75 is the floor for that contract but there's room there to fit that in.

Minor things I see are likely Russell/Shore as scratches over Lagesson/Perlini and Smith as starter over Koskinen. As mentioned above, I wouldn't bet too hard against Turris making a comeback this year. Stalock is the complicating factor as you risk losing him and having a real goaltending depth issue but it costs you carrying Shore and Turris as your extras.

I think the team is semi interested in what stalock can do but he’s gotta really stand out to be in any conversation. Betting the plan is waiver bound and if not picked up there Holland will try to move him somewhere rather than sending to Bakersfield. Doubtful to carry three goalies on big club and wouldn’t want him stealing playing time away from the two guys in Bakersfield.

For sure, if Stalock doesn't look better than Koskinen in camp he's an easy decision to throw on waivers. You don't want to carry 3 goalies on the big squad but there are legitimate concerns on what you do if Smith goes down (which is likely at some point with a 39 year old) as Koskinen struggles when he has a heavy workload. Although without a 2 week quarantine you can get a goalie quicker this year than last in an emergency. 100% Stalock will not end up in Bakersfield.... Skinner on Konavalov will be fighting for the net there, last thing you do is make them fight a 34 year old for time in the minors.
