I dont think this gets it done....but if it does, this would make the most sense. Throw Eichel on IR with Tuch and have them come off for the playoffs

As the always knowledgeable @VGKNation702 says, this would only work if Eichel and Tuch spent the entire season on LTIR. Without Carrier, the Golden Knights are at $78.1 million; Tuch is $4.75 million and Eichel (by the terms of this construction) is at $8 million. Taking Reilly Smith instead of Carrier would work, though.

I'd still be looking for

Krebs, Tuch, and Smith(VGK can trade him though) and some type of conditional 1sts and 2nds.

We'll take Carrier but in that case you need to of traded Smith elsewhere obviously for money.
