Description

Contracts:

Rantanen's 6 year 9.25 AAV has been used as a comparable deal for Pettersson. The Canucks as of right now cannot afford to go the full 8 years so this gives them some relative security for the next few years.

Hughes is obviously not as good as Cale Makar so giving him the same AAV but for 8 years would make sense.

Note that both of these contracts are going on the assumption that Hamonic will not be joining the team.

The roster is my assumption as to what the opening night line up will look like factoring in injuries and who has stood out in training camp so far.

podkolzin would be on the powerplay and rathbone should be quarterbacking the 2nd power play unit

I actually agree however I don't think that Travis will do that right out of the gate. It will come to that not far into the year

I keep Boeser and Hoglander together, they’ve been great at camp. Put Garland on top line. I want to see what he can do with Petey and JT!
