The way this works is that I can only change players based on their position in the lineup for example if I think Brayden point (lightning's 1C) is better than Nick Suzuki (habs 1C), I can't make Suzuki my 2C, I'd have to compare Cirelli (lightning's 2C) and Dvorak (habs 2C)
This is made with injuries, taken into consideration, and using the daily faceoff projected lineups.

The only place where this gets kinda wonky is the D.

Grzelcyk is clearly the bruins best LD, but it seems like they’re tinkering with the notion of playing him down the lineup for balance. He’ll play a lot with McAvoy situationally, and likely be the top minutes eater on the left side (which is not a good thing).
