I think the only team he’d waive for are the Rangers so he’d be back with Bread but obviously we have no want or need for him. If another team doesn’t take his contract then I think a buyout will be warranted.

That contract is buyout proof, what team wants a $6 million cap hit for no reason. I'm thinking LTIR or mutual agreement to terminate the contract or early retirement are the only option other than trading a boatload of Draft picks or %50 retain on a trade.

I think they have to ride it out until 2024-25....that is when he has a 16 team M-NTC and the bulk of his money is already paid out. He would be having something like 5m salary and a 10m cap hit, that is a team like Ottawa who love those type of contracts so they dont have to pay players to get to the cap floor

2023-24 Bob will be traded to the Sens for Murray after his 5m SB is paid. Bob will have 3 years left, 10m cap hit buy 5m salary, Murray has a 8m salary and a 6.5m cap hit. I can see this happening already bc of that cheap Eugene
