moar armchair nerds putting players on LTIR for no reason, and thinking Reaves will be on the bench long term... delete this

Fox at 5x8mil is also an extreme lowball. I don't think Hertl is that much of an upgrade over Bread+Butter chemistry for this to be necessary regardless

Hertl is a clear upgrade over strome, also this way we can keep Z productive for longer, Reaves only has 1 year left, Fox is a low but if he forced his way over here he can take a lowball to help our cap situation, Nemeth on LTIR is just my way of saying hes gone for cap reasons but im too lazy to find a trade for him

Then just make a trade like "ANA - anywhere for anything". I'm not tryna nitpick but it's much easier for people to read and understand this way

I'm definitely not gonna argue that Hertl is better than Strome, but by how much is my argument. I don't think this upgrade is worth completely upending all our upcoming contracts, or needing one of our two high priced NMCs to waive, for it to take place. That's more of my point

And Reaves goes in the lineup, Blais doesn't get re-signed, seems more logical. Reaves is going to play 70+ games when healthy. So many armchairs have him on the bench as if he's only gonna play 5-10 games a year
