When i clicked on this team, i knew there would be a klein trade for almost nothing. I just knew it. Klein is actually really good.
And how does that get you Justin Faulk? CAR says no.

Oh, I don't know if Car declines that trade. Faulk is not a great defensive defenseman and Car is loaded with young D. Step sets Car up the middle for years to come. I do agree that Klein is a pretty good defenseman. Although, a 3rd round pick is not nothing. We got Holden for a 4th and hes better than Klein.

Not buying out Staal this year, he'd be on the books for 8 years! DG maybe. Klein was good now a 6/7 d, maybe a 5th. Step is a 1or 2 c for Faulk who's a 4 d is an even trade without 3rd. Hayes is c and JTM is w. Hanzal AND Boyle makes a lot slower.
