Description
The main piece of this is signing Shattenkirk. He gets money and term he wants while being in the Eastern Conference. Then, Sami Vatanen is added because Fowlers not available anymore and lindholm is too good for them to lose. They take mcquaid but mostly a first and third. Then at the expansion draft we give a second for them to take belesky. For more cap relief, miller is traded with subban as the price for some much needed depth players. Pasternak is also signed to a bridge deal. Then s team only works of the cap is raised.

I don't think you're giving Vancouver enough. But what I do have a problem with is the separation of Bergeron and Marchand. They play so well together. What's your reasoning to separate them?

Ducks and Nucks say no. Pasta is going to cost closer to 6 than 4 and more years, won't be a bridge deal. Not giving up a 2nd round pick to force the Beleskey pick. Just leave him exposed and he'd likely get picked. Top choices other than him are Subban, McQuaid, Hayes. Nobody there worth giving away a second round pick to protect. If they want to dump his contract trade him for a late round pick if he isn't selected.

I didn't realize Bergeron was on the second line, I thought I put him on the first. And belesky has a horrible contract I doubt Vegas would take on without a pick. And those guys might not be worth a 2nd but the 3.8 mil gone lets me sign pastrnak. Pastrnak for a Just a second is a fantastic trade off.

Shatty, Vatenan and Krug , we would lead the league in goals against and have less hits than the ice capades.
