I've always been a fan of Valimaki - seems like he is really struggling though. And he's been injured a bunch which is never good. Not a bad hockey trade though - Valimaki might be able to excel from a fresh start. Kostin looks like a very serviceable guy but probably restricted to a bottom six role, and with Neighbours basically a lock to make next year's team and the Blues' lack of defensive prospects (Perunovich can play either side so no harm there), some shuffling might make sense. Personally, I think the ACL history is scary, and I'm not sure the money works because the Blues are completely capped out.
