Goaltending problem is a lot more complicated than just trade kosk. He’s the goalie Edmonton would want to move but what does that actually fix? Smith has another year and skinner isn’t waiver exempt so bringing in term is creating a crowed crease for next year not to mention kosk expiring money is already spent on nurse so the term becomes very tough to fit in with everything else. I just don’t think this can work from an oilers POV. I do think it’s a reasonable trade overall.

Then you are blind or don’t know the team or it’s issues at all. So why comment? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Addresses all their needs. LD1, C2, a physical presence, goalie glut, dumps bad contract with term for bad expiring contracts giving them more cap flexibility next year, with the incoming assets all being under team control as opposed to rentals so they are not pissing away assets.

But hey…nice try.

Sure, pair of 1sts, a #1 goalie, a premium D prospect and half dozen secondary pieces with NHL value but…you do you.
