CAR-ANA:
I was in the camp that wanted to expose steel over Fluery at the expansion draft. I really do think that was an error that did slow down our rebuild to some extent. Regardless, this is strictly from a Ducks pov. Apologies if I missed the boat on CAR's wants and needs. Manson is useful but I doubt ANA can fetch a 1st for his services.

ANA-TBL
this is the only way we can fetch a 1st for Rakell imo. For other teams its a 2nd and b/b- prospect.
Don't see Boston willing to give up a 1st for at best a second round exit, Florida already sold this years for Reinhart, and other teams that posses their first like MIN or EDM don't really need a winger imo.

MIN-ANA
another trade that can be for any playoff team. Carrick is an awesome 4th line center. Wouldn't mind keeping him or resigning him next year.
Trades
1.
ANA
  1. Bear, Ethan
  2. 2023 3rd round pick (CAR)
2.
ANA
  1. Dermott, Travis
  2. Hutton, Carter
  3. Robertson, Nicholas
  4. 2022 1st round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Trying to switch it up.

Stolarz is a solid upgrade in the back up goalie position. Would really help with a playoff run. Maybe misinformed here on TOR goalie situation. Apologies if I am.

1 of Robertson, Amirov, or Nemi for the prospect. Id pass on Amriov personally.

Although this trade is very unlikely I want to stress the Leafs are playing the best they have in 2 years and you cant skimp out on this opportunity to chase the cup. Its gonna cost a little.
TOR
  1. Lindholm, Hampus ($2,500,000 retained)
  2. Stolarz, Anthony
3.
ANA
  1. 2022 1st round pick (TBL)
Additional Details:
+ whatever it takes to solve the caphit
TBL
  1. Rakell, Rickard ($1,894,722 retained)
4.
ANA
  1. 2022 4th round pick (OTT)
Additional Details:
This can be any team. Hell I wouldnt care if we kept ND. Nonetheless, most we get for him. Put the 1st round rumors to bed.
5.
ANA
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (MIN)
6.
ANA
  1. Whynot, Cameron [Reserve List]
Additional Details:
Why not? EXGMBM would probably like this trade.

ANA
  1. 2022 4th round pick (STL)
Additional Details:
For Don Draper and the ish he pulled in Vegas. Robbery for robbery.

Minnesota declines. Yes it's a 3rd but we have connor dewar and nico sturm for that role and both are fast, and really good 4th liners

I don’t know if Bear gets traded with how good he has started to look the past few games. And right now, Canes can’t exactly afford to trade any of their roster dmen, at the very least until DeAngelo gets back. But getting back to Bear’s play, it’s the best he has played for his season. If you were to tell me Bear would get traded maybe 3 weeks ago, I would have believed that, but now I’m having my doubts. I could be wrong though. I mean, just look at my predictions for Toffoli and Ritchie.

I don’t really know if the Canes would be interested in Manson. He is older and more expensive than Bear, and is a UFA rental, which Carolina really has a track record of not wanting to buy rentals at the deadline. If Manson were a more clear cut upgrade over Bear, and while statistically speaking he might, other aspects, particularly money wise, make Bear more appealing. Someone like Comtois would be more appealing to the Canes, but I know Anaheim won’t be shopping him. If there is a rental the Canes might go after, it would probably be Forsberg half retained. At the deadline, the Canes might add, but they also might just stand pat with the roster they currently have.
