Line 1 - don’t fix what isn’t broken
Line 2 - Line 2 has been solid but Kapanen still has his wtf moments (example: Carolina’s 2nd goal) so move him down to line 3. ERod has been a lot better as a center than winger this year and has a better 200 ft game and better at faceoffs than Malkin. Most of Malkin’s production has come on the power play playing the right side as a left shot. His shot can be deadly from there and can be the offense on the line while Heinen and ERod are more defensive.
Line 3 - Put Kappy on this line to limit his opportunities for WTF moments and also giving him 2 forwards that play better defense to make up for any. This line has scoring touch but is underrated gritty.
Line 4 - again don’t fix what isn’t broken.

Defensive pairs - I really like what Friedman brings to the lineup but who do you take out of the lineup? It’s tough to pull anyone from the defense out. But he can slide in very easily for any injuries.

Goaltending - with DeSmith playing much better. Can’t see Hextall bringing in a backup anymore. Not many that would be any better.
