Description

Flames can keep Gaudreau and Tkachuk but need to move Monahan to do it. Best way to save cap is to let some guys from the farm get a shot. Phillips and Pelletier have lit up the AHL together and good be a good scoring 3rd line if they can get it done. Either way time to see what they’ve got. Can maybe convince Mangiapane to take a little less on a shorter term deal. Would take him to UFA but Calgary could probably afford him once Lucic’s monster is off the books.

We’ve been trough this in other ACGM, citing the numbers, but you need to give a pick to get rid of Monahan. His value is now below zero and is a negative, a cap dump
