Actually it's been reported exactly the opposite. Yall need to keep up. Fridge says negotiations are going poorly and NSH has been canvassing the league

For Forsberg, sounds like they haven't made progress, but intend to try and resign him into the offseason. Not saying this is the best idea, but that's what poile wants. Abruzzese holds lots of value, 2nd+ easily compared to other US prospects coming out of high level college hockey. I think they could give him a chance. Looks to be a good player. Didn't look out of place on Team USA.
