Wings: Physical playmakers and goal scorers, that are able to help out defensively.
Centers: Fast, skill forwards, who are good in the faceoff dot. Great playmakers for the wings. Very good defensively.
Defensemen: Even pairings, one offense one defense, with bottom pairing being a physical shutdown pair. Shutdown pair plays the most with 4th line forwards, but can play with anyone.
Goalies: Young and talented, but able to steal a game if the need arises. Very good mobility and good puck movers.
1st line F: Dominate in the O-Zone with speed and crisp passing plays. Keeps the opposing team in their zone. Punishing hits from the wings with good puck retrieval. Go to O-Zone start line.
2nd line F: Wears opposing team down with puck retrievals, takeaways, hits, and overall transitional play.
3rd line F: Skill passing line, with great transitional play. Very good defensively, more D-Zone starts than top 6.
4th line F: Grind line that can score. Very good defensively, can score, very physical, go to D-Zone start line.
1st Pairing D: Defensive LD who can move the puck with an Offensive RD who has defensive capabilities.
2nd Pairing D: Physical pairing, both can score with good defensive awareness.
3rd Pairing D: Shutdown pairing. Can score ~10 pts each. Mainly used in the D-Zone. Very physical.
1A G: Starting goalie for the majority of the season. Good mobility and good puck handling skills.
1B G: Backup who splits with starter, and is able to push for the starting role. Healthy competition to make each other better. Good mobility and puck handling.
Overall style of play: Very physical and with speed and transition dominating the game. Special teams can push each other, with various players that can be swapped around. Full offensive pressure while being able to give up a minimal amount of rush chances. Majority of the team is not afraid to fight.
