Greenway value

Aliaksei Protas probably ends up being another Greenway.

Is the value close? That’s why is used Protas. I imagine Wild develop him into a greenway at a lower cap hit

Caps probably want to hold on to Protas as he is a producing rookie something that is important to one of the oldest lineups in the league. I think that they'd try and use a different player. I also don't watch Minnisota a lot but I'd assume that the value is closer without Protas.

Minnesota isn't trading greenway. Not especially after he was given 3 years extension beginning next year. Wild aren't breaking up one of the best lines , shutdown lines with foligno. Joel Eriksson ek and foligno lines

Minnesota has 8 defensemen under contract next year, not to mention calen addison whose under contract and in ahl. They will also have top d prospects in Carson lambos, Ryan o'Rourke, and Damon hunt, and maybe Jack peart who will also sign abd be in ahl next year , so they aren't in need of d man next year or following at all.

Player's like greenway aren't giving an extension, 3 years and greenway who has become a big part of Grief line to be traded. So Minnesota says no.
