The cap is 65m I believe. Just plain silliness to give out two ridiculous contracts. There are good value UFAs to sign, and if nothing else, teams will give you their LTIR players.

I don’t think the cap would jump that much as the upper limit is only going up 1M. Right now the lower limit is 60.2M, so I think it may go up a bit more but not much. Please tell me if I’m wrong, because I’m actually curious to see what people think the lower limit is going to be. I just don’t think it will be 65M, which that would be jumping up roughly 5M.

Don't like the Kadri contract. But I would do DK at that but would see if he was willing to do 2-3yrs. Don't need Anderson if DK signs. Sabres have to spend 20m just to get to the floor.

You're probably right about there floor, it makes it closer to a 61m floor next season. That's even a bigger reasonn not to spend 18m on Kadri and Grabauer.
