Sabres spend some money

Sabres are not spening 10 mil on two goalies, when they need one. Signing Husso to 6 yrs is asking for troubles.
I like Trocheck signing.
I don't like Paul deal, all signs indicate that Mittelstadt will get another year to prove himself.
Cole and Gudbranson. Maybe one of the defenders, but certainly not two.

Don't really like the Cole signing, and that's a lot of years for Husso. And would stay away from Holtby

Every single player on the team except skinner and tuch has 2 years or less on their deals. Super job making sure we won't be able to sign half them now

All of Cole's stats shows he makes his linemates better while being responsible in his own end. Over a 2 year deal and needing to hit the cap floor, they should give him whatever it takes

I think some people are worried needlessly about cap space and resigning our good young players - in two years Okposo contract and Girgensons contracts come off so Sabres will have at least 13 mil in total but excluding increased cap to resign Thompson, Cozens and Samuelsson, the year after Holtby 4mil and Cole 3.5mil come off and the year after that Paul, Gudbrandson and Olofsson come off at 10.5 mil- the hope would be when Holtby and Cole come off that Levi and Johnson step up and when Paul, Gudbrandson and Olofsson come off that Rosen and some of out 2022 draft picks step up. Trying to get us in play-off contention next year without destroying future development is a little tricky.
