How come guy signed for 1 year isn't rental ?
Benson would play over, let's say Greenway in top 9, pushing Greenway to 4th / PK putting Brandon Duhaime to AHL.

Hartman would be a rental, not worth all that.
UPL is good this season, defense is bad. Trading for goalie with slightly better numbers is not what Sabres should do. Those number will drop, with how bad Sabres defense is.

It`s obvious downgrade, but still McDavid's upgrade would be huge, while keeping Dahlin, Tage, Tuch, Benson, Quinn, Peterka, Samuelsson - Sabres will be fine.

Jokiharju is not the problem. With Ryan Johnson playing very well, he would be 5-6th D on next year roster - good enough, spend money elsewhere

That would be a mistake for Arizona.

If he wants to go there, wait till UFA and sign him 8x13, whatever. If he doesnt want to go there, he is not signing extension, regardless of trade.
