Trading Jokiharju for Brannstrom is a lateral move at best, I don’t see why they would. Bryson isn’t being qualified, and there’s no reason to sell low on Krebs.

Same draft year, similar production and contracts. I think Sens fans would welcome the lateral move as theyre actively looking for RD.

But at the same time this would leave the Sabres with only one right shot D. From what i understand almost all of your young LD have looked good on the right but id imagine its still less than ideal.

Specifically, the fact that we are helping out a division rival a lot more than we’re helping ourselves means the trade makes no sense for us.
