NJ trade fits what both teams are trying to achieve. Two top six quality veteran wingers and a goalie prospect to NJ to help push this team to the next level of their rebuild. Obviously this is contingent on Miller re-signing long term. DiPietro gives them a prospect that should at least be an NHL back up. Vancouver gets two good young NHL players, two high picks and two prospects of decent quality.

Vegas trades clear up significant cap for them while adding a quality cost controlled player (Hoglander) and some low cost depth. Brossoit can compete for the Canucks backup position, but likely gets waived to Abby. I doubt he gets claimed as his play vs salary was uninspiring last year.

Seattle upgrades at wing, Canucks save on term. Not sure if a pick even comes back there, but it's possible given the disparity in the players.

Overall it seems to meet Alvin/Rutherford's stated goals, except for acquiring a high end RD. Maybe Walsh becomes that but IDK. The team is younger, faster and bigger with some room to grow. It would be a nice start IMO.
