Also, if you review the trade that got canceled, Vegas sent Dadonov and a 2nd to ANA for John Moore and Kesler's contract, so I'd say Vegas not having to send a 2nd, taking on a retired player's contract, getting a 4th for Dadonov is a pretty solid deal.

Again, Leverage is a heck of a thing. Vegas has none and was ADDING a 2nd for a team to take him off their hands while also continuing to pay player who's no longer in the NHL.

You don't get it and clearly aren't seeing all the pieces. You're wrong, but it's fine.

The initial return for Dadonov PLUS a 2nd was a player who's buried in the minors and taking on a dead contract at almost $7M. In this trade they actually RECEIVE VALUE. If that part isn't obvious to you, then I'm not sure what to tell you. You clearly have tenuous grasp of hockey.
