the 1st for 2 2nds is smart and both this year and next year will have tons of quality guys taken in the 2nd rounds.

Thanks. I think for the Oilers, they are better off having more bullets in the chamber than not and maybe more trades become available with those 2nd and 3rd rounder picks

1sts are always far more attractive to teams, but those 2nds tend to be good for rebuilding a weaker prospect pool!
if it’s to restock the prospect pool do it but if it’s for trades then i would keep that 1st.

I just think of the toews trade with the islanders. those 2nds mean nothing with how he is playing.

Don't think the Sens due the Edmonton trade cause that second will be a top 50 where there will still be pretty good players and that Tampa pick will have already been selected by that time.
