Description

Disregard the Nylander trade for now. Really wanted to see what the cap would look like, if the Stars tried to pursue him.

At the end of the day, if Dallas and Toronto are trade partners, I don't see anything getting done until Dallas can shed at least $3.5M of cap space. This can come in the form of a player (or players) going back to Toronto in a trade or an additional trade with a different team (ex: Arizona trade below) to alleviate some cap issues that would arise by acquiring Nylander
