So I think of you trade JP it's part of a package for a goaltender. Him traded with no Kane liking means line up like
Nuge - McDavid - Holloway?
Hyman - Drai - Yam
Foegele - MacLeod - Ryan

A better fit on D (more physical) to play with Kulak is where I think Oil need to target. Broberg rolls as 7th D and 11F config. Nemo replaces Broberg every other game Skinner is your back up or Oilers have 3 goalies if Smith does not retire

I get the feeling Nashville isn't trading Saros as they are looking to retool. Saros trade = rebuild and Forsberg would have been traded last season

Saros would cost more than an alright prospect and 2 low 1st round picks. He’s arguably a top 5 goalie in the league signed for 3 more year at a affordable 5 million a year. This offer gets beat
