Description

I don't put a lot of weight on rumors and insiders - but figured I would take them into account for my updated roster of what I think will happen. Letang is a higher priority than Malkin. If they both have issues with the AAV offered to them - I believe GMRH will pay Letang and let Malkin walk.

My gut says Zucker and McGinn don't get dumped. This doesn't leave enough money for Nichushkin or any of the other top 2nd line winger FA.

The only Malkin replacements I see happening are signing Trocheck or trading for Miller. Assuming the Miller trade would include Kapanen I don't see it happening based on GMRH comments about Kapanen in the offseason. If there is a Miller trade that doesn't include Kap, let me know. I would take Copp at 2C and sign a better winger, but this is more for what I think will happen.
