Challenge: Make two NHL All-Star teams (basically a top 6, top 4, and 2 goalies) with players all from different countries.
A lot of guys will probably be the same (like Draisaitl and Cernak) but there’s definitely a little room for creativity. Particularly with where you slot Canada, USA, and Russia.
Some other ideas: Instead of Kopitar, Gaudreau, Rantanen, and Hedman you could run Matthews, Forsberg, Heiskanen, and Zuccarello. Or swap Zuccarello+Saros in for Rantanen+Merzlikins. Denmark is actually an interesting country because I think there are decent arguments for all of Ehlers, Bjorkstrand, and Andersen as the best player. The 12th country will probably come down ro Zuccarello vs. Merzlikins in a lot of cases (Norway vs. Latvia). Unless you really like Sharangovich and think he’s better than Zuccarello. Or decide to use Heiskanen on D and Andersen in net, necessitating both Zuccarello and Sharangovich most likely (dropping Slovakia and Latvia).
