Honestly i feel like if the avs can offer 6.5 x 5 kadri will consider. Maybe sneak up to 6.75-7. Dont resign JJ, 250K less on Cogs and helm and maybe manson stays around. Think fluery would be about 1 mill cheaper. Maybe use those savings and get nuke over marchment. Only time will tell but i respect the idea.

Way too long on kadri, you're paying him till he's 40, i like him and all but i doubt he replicates the season he just had.

I like it. I figured it’d be very tough to keep both Val and Kadri. Probably overboard on the Kadri contract, but if you can keep him and leave good cap space for future - that’s why I went for a cheaper Val. I trust Joe.

Would you rather bet on Val or Kadri for the next 3-4 years? Rather a center or a wing? Val is 5.5-6 per year and Kadri is 6.5-8. I realize the term I put was long.

Val i'm sure will be scoring a little less but his 2 way play is what makes him good. I'd like to resign him for sure. He's also built for playoff hockey which is where this team wants to be right now
