This is Reasonable

I'm fairly certain talks with Letang are close so I think he's coming back.
Pettersson looks to be the defenseman Hextall wants to move, and even if it is Dumo that goes, he's not a cap dump.

I think that's what's more likely to happen but this a bit of wishful thinking. Pettersson is only 24 and a very solid defensive defenseman, while Dumoulin appears to be well on the downswing with a pretty poor year, so maybe they can get a mid round pick from the right team, but if not he isn't currently worth his salary so I'd rather cap dump Dumoulin than trade away Pettersson for a third or fourth. The focal point of this really is that you get Malkin back and you have two extremely solid wingers for him, who can both finish really well and drive play, honestly think he's a 100 point player again with this line.

Saying something reasonable don't mean it is... habs don't need to trade petry and they already said unless they'll be satisfied with the return they ain't trading him, this ain't something to make then happy, not even close
