It seems likely GMKA does not want to clog up the roster with forward additions. They won't be afraid to go to arbitration with Olofsson because he could then become an trade asset. I would still like to get him signed for a couple of years. When he's our 4th line LW/PP2 off wing shooter our team will be in good shape. So I will put him on the roster with a longer deal, and then I believe our NHL roster will be mostly set. The question is do you put the Skinner-Thompson-Tuch line back together or split them up like at the end of last season. The wild card is maybe moving pieces around to see if Peterka and Quinn can develop chemistry with them. I'll also leave Ruotsalainen off the roster because last I heard, he was going back.

For now, I'll keep the top line the same. They are so disruptive to the other team's break out with the length from Thompson and Tuch and Skinner's ability to read the play and create offense off of turnovers. I don't want to lose that. I want to see Peterka and Cozens play together. Their speed and play on the rush compliment each other well. And MIttelstadt is an underrated shooter and I can see him as effective on the rush as the trailer. I still think Quinn may ultimately be a center so I'll keep him with Krebs and Olofsson. The 4th line is a solid line with defensive responsibility and tenacity. You can play all 4 lines evenly. I like Hinostroza as the 13th forward you can play up and down the lineup and Murray as the 14th forward can add some size to any line. I sent Bjork down as he just hasn't been able to put it together and this is the last year of his contract.
