Description
A hockey analyst from TSN in Canada just came out with his prediction as to what the Bruins Opening Day lineup could/would look like.

He says the Bruins needs are:
1 Top 9 Forward
Depth forwards
1 Top pair defenceman

Bruins Trade Market:
Spooner, Beleskey, Hayes, McQuaid, Miller

Expansion Targets:
McQuaid, Subban, Nash

GM Action:
In the starting lineup he added Brian Boyle UFA already so I put him at 4th line centre as a depth addition.

Based on all that, this is how I see things unfolding for October, 2017.

Of all the teams to trade to Beleskey . Vancouver? I think they remember last years ex Bruins fiasco, Ericsson. Fool me once shame on you.....well you know the rest.
Really the only way Beleskey is traded is with similar money returned to the Bruins.

Or you send a higher round pick with him. Some team with cap space will take the chance on him if you offer some incentive. IF he returns to form, which is a very realistic possibility, the team acquiring him makes out very well.

No thanks to Ales Hemsky and a bigger no thanks to Brian Boyle. Hemsky @ 3.5AAV for 3 years would be rough. To me, he's a guy to look at late in the summer, if he doesn't find a team, and you want to see what he has. He was injured basically all of last season. He'll be 35 when the season starts.....Maybe a 1Y cheap "show us what you have" type contract for him, but he shouldn't be the first option.

    In my humble opinion:
I believe you may have overpaid for Jake Muzzin. He is a nice top four defenseman, but he does not fill that top 2 role all that well and Spooner, Subban, Hayes, and Miller just seem like too much for that. I like Brian Boyle as a third checking line type player who can chip in on the second line penalty kill and the 5v3 second line penalty kill. For 2.5 million, you would expect to be able to trust him for that. The Hemsky deal would look better for only one year; by the third or even second year it would be another Matt Beleskey where you pay someone 3.5 million to watch from the press box. I like Hemsky now, just not in three years. I would also suggest calling up Czarnik. With the trades that you have made and the players that you have on the roster, I would go with the following lines:

    Pasta Bergy Marchand
    Backes Krejci Vatrano
    Hemsky Boyle DeBrusk
    Acciari Nash Heinen

    McAvoy Krug
    Carlo Muzzin
    Miller Chara
