Is Anderson actually worth this? No. Is this possibly less then his perceived market value? Yes. Oilers have interest in Anderson and Poehling is a former 1st with top 9 upside. I would love to keep Poehling but he just doesn't fit due to the amount of centers we have. He would be a good fit for the oilers since he's a young player who would be on a cheap contract.

I love Stranges but he’s definitely a boom or bust prospect. Probably has 2nd line upside but by the time he reaches that Dallas should be rebuilding. Habs also get a pick

Dallas still sees themselves as a playoff team and with Klingberg gone they need a really good RD. Petry at less the 5M is a steal. This will probably look like an awful deal for the habs but his value definitely has dropped.

The goalie market is stupid in terms of values so trade Allen to wherever needs a goalie
