Description

A lot of people see Slafkovsky with Suzuki and Caufield.

I see the “Slaf-squatch” with the “Dach-squatch” and the “Josh-squatch”. I’d love to see what kind of physicality that trio could provide on the ice.

I had to put Armia & Drouin in the minors to fit Dach’s contract within the cap situation.

If Hughes can’t find a taker for one or more of Drouin/Hoffman/Armia, this could be a scenario just to create the cap space to sign Dach.

Another option for cap space could be a Petry deal, but I’m assuming they’d use a lot of that cap space to replace Petry with a veteran signing.

If Hughes isn't moving anyway, it's because Byron and Price start the season on the LTIR (Byron won't be healthy for 1st game)
