Kylington isn’t worth a 1st and Ottawa doesn’t need him if they can acquire Chychrun/Marino/Weegar. Sanderson’s being talked about in the same breath at Makar, Fox and obviously Power for defensive prospects coming out of the NCAA.

The question is not whether he can play, it’s whether or not he’s ready for top 4 minutes and if Power is then I don’t see any reason that Sanderson isn’t. This is arguably the best prospect outside of the NHL at the moment. In no world is he buried in the minors.
