All moves in chronological order purposefully. Panarin and Kucherov could have very similar chemistry/production as what the Hawks have had. May put a squeeze into Yzerman re-signing his other free agents but also could be quite beneficial. Francis has stated he may want NHLers for the 9th pick. Bowman then trades his three first rounders to Dallas in a draft night coup and selects young Gabe Vilardi with the 3rd pick. In addition, Johns is re-acquired and actually properly used as a Hawk! While Vanek may be in line for a bigger raise, he could be worthwhile at this rate. Boyle would more than adequately replace Kruger and also provide a nice screen on the PP. And of course I just had to sign Yooper Justin Florek as a big, lanky depth winger. All told, the Hawks add size and experience without sacrificing too much loss offensively especially if DeBrincat can make the jump smoothly!
