    I'm not a fan personally. I think you draft Hischer, and trade Kovalchuck and do the rebuild right.

    Murray is win now, not sure you will get Silfverberg for that. Considering this trade would not help Anaheim out at all.

    This team is a few years away from contention as it is, and your trades here don't seem to help much. Sure, you picked up some nice pieces, but trading Nico Hischier and Micheal Mcleod, arguably two of the Devils biggest assets going forwards, might even push this team further back. Ray knows to do the rebuild and do it the right way so this team is set up for long term success. Also this year's draft picks are off the table when it comes to a Kovalchuk trade, as he can only be signed by the Devils on July 1st at the earliest.
