Description

Hoping for someone to undercut VGK in the reported deal that was being discussed, it wouldn't make much sense to let VGK take these two for nothing. TVR as a sweetener to unloading Kruger's contract is obviously very similar to last years Bickell/Teuvo trade (returned a 2nd and 3rd), however I'd say a Kruger/TVR package is slightly better in terms production, and is also cheaper. I would like to think someone is willing to give up value to acquire them.

Doing this before the Expansion Draft makes the protected list Toews, Kane, Hossa, Anisimov, Panik, Hartman, Jurco, Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, Crawford.... leaving Rasmussen, Tootoo, Roszival, Glass exposed (Yikes).

I like the way you think... I agree offloading kruger or TVR is a good idea before the expansion draft but i think worst case scenario you get rid of them in the expansion draft need to get rid of the 3 million on the 4th line no matter what.
