Hi there.
So, this is my take on what the Habs lineup *could* look like next October. A few overall points:

1 -Don't pay attention to who the trades are with. I think these are the prices to pay to unload certain contracts (ie Gallagher). I don't think Hoffman and Armia will be moveable.
2 -Ultimately I moved out players I don't see fitting with the CH long-term, and I brought in the players I think will be playing in 14 months.
3 -There is a weird bottom-4 logjam on D. The players I moved to CHI are what I believe are 'expendable' in order to get a top2 dman. (Not necessarily Jones but ultimately I believe this will be the price to pay).
4- Depending on where the Habs draft next year, there could realistically be another young player in this lineup. (hopefully a real top2 D).
5- I don't think Guhle and Mailloux are going to be top2 D. Basically, Habs need 2 real top2D somewhere. (edited)
